Boots 'n Breeches is a registered 501(c)(3) non profit corporation that operates out of Brookwood Equestrian Center serving people with disabilities. We offer two programs: Therapeutic Horsemanship for children starting as young as age four; teens, adults, and Veterans through our Horses for Heroes program.

Riding a horse is often one of the few activities available to people with disabilies. Mastering riding skills can tremendously boost a rider's self-confidence. And the special bond that often occurs between horse and rider can help heal emotional wounds. The smiles, the hugs, the tears of delight and joy say it all. But the healing that goes on at Boots 'n Breeches is not limited to our riders. There is a healing that happens in our community between our horses,families, riders, staff and volunteers.
